We have teamed up with the folks at Freestyle hops and Phantasm in NZ to bring you a brand new foray into the exploration of Thiols (aromatic compounds) in west coast styles. Mega Motueka is a new product created by them they uses select Motueka hops that are pelletized together with Phantasm NZ Sauvignon Blanc grape powder. We are one of the first to create a beer with this, and are certainly one of the first to make a west coast style. We use a special yeast strain to unlock thiols in grain and hops, and we utilize a special hopping regimen with certain hops throughout the production. It is heavily whirlpooled and double dry hopped with Freestyle's Mega Motueka w/ Phantasm hops.
