KING FERRY/AURORA

We are currently looking for a chef or cook to work in our brand new kitchen. Knowledge and experience a must, desire to be creative and passionate a huge plus and what we are essentially looking for in the candidate. Duties include prep, cooking, ordering, inventory, running kitchen equipment including flat top, fryers, smokers, and wood fired oven. Work in conjunction with team to create new menu items and come up with ideas. Take control of implementation of such ideas. A creative individual with a passion for food is ideal, as well as ability to lead a small team if necessary, work under presssure, follow health department rules and regulations, create a clean and safe environment, pay attention to detail, and work well with others. Candidate but be able to work up to 40 hours per week, and be available days, nights & weekends but with the opportunity to still have weekend days off as well as some weeknights. Compensation between $22 and $30 per hour plus tips. A monthly travel reimbursement offered for individuals who live further than a 30 minute commute.
